Crowdfund Campaign update

Hello uncivilised friends!

What an overwhelming response to the start of our crowdfund campaign – £3840 in 18 days – we’re over well over halfway to our goal already! This will help us finish the final edit and our pop-up cinema structure so we can take the film on the road this summer…
If you haven’t seen the trailer for our film project, wetheuncivilised, A Life Story, see it here now. (The trailer comes in at 3:54, after me and Pete talking about the vision). If you would like to stay updated on the film and the tour this summer SUBSCRIBE HERE.
We’re so deeply grateful for all the support so far… And we’re really excited at the buzz that seems to be growing about the film in the wider community.

Film update

Polly Higgins, ecocide lawyer, says in the film:
‘It’s about singing a new song, it’s about creating a new song for humanity and singing such a beautiful song that others want to join… that soon we have a choir, that’s singing so loud for the earth, that everyone else wants to come on board.’
Last week, we spent an incredible and beautiful evening with Hackney Harmony community choir creating an hour of sonic symphony. Thanks to alchemists Sophia Efthimiou and Cosmo Sheldrake for this an emergent piece of improvised music that will weave through our film.
Help our campaign
We really need to keep the momentum going, so please help us share the campaign far and wide.
Here are some suggestions for how you can help:
  • like our Wetheuncivilsed Facebook page and encourage your contacts to ‘like’ us too
  • post photos and comments to our Facebook page
  • spread the word to your networks by email and phone and in person (even better!)
  • contact any people or organisations you think might resonate and ask them to provide an endorsement
  • We’ll be sharing more and more of our unfolding journey over the next few weeks…If you have any other suggestions or ideas on how you could help us, please get in touch.
    With love and gratitude,
